7 Or, il arriva que pendant qu’Amalickiah s’assurait ainsi le pouvoir par la fourberie et la tromperie, Moroni, d’autre part, avait préparé l’esprit du peuple à être fidèle au Seigneur, son Dieu.
8 Oui, il avait fortifié les armées des Néphites et érigé de petits forts, ou lieux de refuge, élevant des bancs de terre tout autour de ses armées, et construisant aussi des murailles de pierre pour les entourer, tout autour de leurs villes et des régions frontières de leurs pays, oui, tout autour du pays.
9 Et c’est dans leurs fortifications les plus faibles qu’il mit le plus grand nombre d’hommes ; et ainsi, il fortifia et renforça le pays qui était possédé par les Néphites.
BIBLE : Néhémie 4 :6,9
6 Nous rebâtîmes la muraille, qui fut partout achevée jusqu’à la moitié de sa hauteur. Et le peuple prit à cœur ce travail.
9 Nous priâmes notre Dieu, et nous établîmes une garde jour et nuit pour nous défendre contre leurs attaques.

Alma 43–52
The battles in the Book of Mormon teach me about my battles against evil.
BOM : Alma 48:7-9
7 Now it came to pass that while Amalickiah had thus been obtaining power by fraud and deceit, Moroni, on the other hand, had been preparing the minds of the people to be faithful unto the Lord their God.
8 Yea, he had been strengthening the armies of the Nephites, and erecting small forts, or places of resort; throwing up banks of earth round about to enclose his armies, and also building walls of stone to encircle them about, round about their cities and the borders of their lands; yea, all round about the land.
9 And in their weakest fortifications he did place the greater number of men; and thus he did fortify and strengthen the land which was possessed by the Nephites.
BIBLE : Nehemiah 4: 6, 9
6 So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work.
9 Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.
